be brave

That’s a great goal. I’m apprehensive just thinking about it :)
To face your fears every day is quite drastic. But it also sounds very exciting… Maybe I’ll adopt that goal sometime. I know that I can push myself to face most of my fears if it’s necessary, but I often convince myself that it isn’t absolutely necessary ;)

Did this goal make you less frightened of some things? Or did it help to get used to the feeling?

towards your goal! I’ll have to put together a list like this myself, such a great idea :) If I don’t make it to Xanadu, one of the cities in China would still be an interesting place to visit

Hmmm, I will have to read that. Sounds interesting. I have stuggled with emotional/over/binge/compulsive eating for a really long time but never understood why or how to stop it; it really affects my entire life and sometimes even consumes my thoughts. But this book really delves into the background of it, your psyche, and emotional attachment/triggers. It is really opening my eyes to not only my eating but myself as a whole.

It’s to be held in late august to early september, for 2 weeks.

So you have got a lot of time to get the summer job to save money until that time, if you like the concept and feel like seeing Turkey :)

You can reach me whenever you want, the application deadline must be sth like March :)

My new years resolution is to drink nothing under $20 bottle which is a big step for me…I’m hoping that after a year of good wine, I’ll not be able to take the cheap stuff. I’ll be looking at some of the wines listed here. Keep the recommendations coming.

I’ve been doing this, as well, as part of my larger effort to control email. I’m working toward zero emails in the in-box so that when new things come in, I can actually see them instead of ignoring them in the clutter. Dumping newsletters I never read anyway was a great first step.

My favorite scene somehow was when you hear Joel complaining about the way Clementine pronounces “library”. That pretty much broke my heart.
